Rancho OB/GYN in Murrieta, California, was formed in October of 2005 by Dr. John Kaplan and Dr. Sissi Selinger to help service the great need for women’s health services in Southwest Riverside County. In October of 2012, Dr. Kaplan retired, and Dr. Mylinda Bielman joined the practice. In December of 2015, Dr. Bielman left the practice, leaving Dr. Selinger to carry on as a solo practitioner. In October of 2021, Dr. Hannah Shehata joined the Rancho OB/Gyn family and purchased the practice in 2022.
Rancho OB/GYN is a provider for Rancho Springs Medical Center and has privileges at Golden Triangle Medical Center. Currently, there is one medical doctor, a physician’s assistant and a nurse practitioner serving the needs of its patients.
Since 2005 the providers of Rancho Obstetrics and Gynecology and treated thousands of patients, delivered more than 4000 babies, and have conducted more than 3000 surgeries. It has improved the lives of many women and families.
Dr. Shehata purchased Rancho OB/GYN in 2022. She completed her medical residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loma Linda Medical Center. She became a physician because she wanted to develop lifelong relationships with her patients and make a difference in their lives through preventative medicine. Dr. Shehata enjoys the unique challenges of improving women’s health as an OB/GYN and finds joy when she delivers new life.
Dr. Shehata’s goal is to incorporate innovative technology and the latest research on women’s health into her practice so that she can improve the health of her patients. Dr. Shehata graduated medical school from UC Riverside’s inaugural class in 2017. She received her MBA in 2013 in Healthcare Administration from Loma Linda School of Public Health, and she has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of San Diego.
Dr. Shehata is a devout Christian who resides in Murrieta, California. She enjoys going on medical missions, volunteering, spending time outdoors, and is a major foodie who likes to support local restaurants. She loves to cook and experiment with new recipes on the weekends. Dr. Shehata focuses on her own health by exercising through walking, yoga and salsa lessons. Dr. Shehata has participated in numerous research projects throughout the years and prides herself in being up-to-date in the latest technology. She uses this knowledge to bring the most up-to-date equipment and methods to her medical practice. It is her ambition to share her knowledge with her patients to improve their lives by bringing them to better health.
Caitlin Bruce is a Nurse Practitioner at Rancho OB/GYN here in Murrieta, CA. She has been working with women of all ages for over 10 years. She is passionate about helping women through each stage of their life. Caitlin seeks to provide medical care that is tailored to each patient's individual needs. Of note: Caitlin has been involved in several organizations that allow pregnant women to seek free healthcare and resources. And, she has worked closely with an organization that rescues women and children from human trafficking in Europe. Recently, she became certified to begin an organization to fight human trafficking here in the US.
Caitlin Bruce is a Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience. She is very conscientious and gets along well with her patients. Caitlin received an Associate of Science in nursing from Imperial Valley College; a Bachelor of Science in nursing from San Diego State University; and a Master of Science in nursing from UCSD. She previously worked in El Centro and Imperial Valley as a Nurse Practitioner in OB/GYN before joining Rancho OB/GYN in September of 2022. Caitlin is known for her smile, her sense of humor, and easy-going personality.
